I dig this car but I need to move on. its been over heating and Ive had cooling system items tested or replaced. It still overheats. Not immediate, sometimes its fine for a month. Seems to be a trapped air problem. - replaced thermostat with OEM thermostat - block tested for head gasket leaks. passed - compression test - all cylinders are firing appropriately - cooling system pressure test (never a loss of pressure) - infrared scan of cooling system to ensure no blockages - replaced engine cooling fans - replaced Totally Integrated Power Module - many attempts to bleed air from cooling system (every time breather valve was opened air is always present) - replace radiator cap (reservoir cap) water pump and timing belt were replaced Thermostat opens appropriately Water pump is pumping coolant appropriately The radiator is not plugged The vehicles fan are working appropriately Engine coolant temperature sensor is working appropriately
