200,600 miles. Just replaced some relay that cost $450, and before that the car was misdiagnosed and the unneeded repairs cost $650. Grand total of $1100 repairs in last 3 weeks. Car has passed smog and certificate is in hand.
The car has been in the family for 14 years or so, almost never needed repairs - its a tank. There is a small dent located at rear driver side door at the bottom, please see photos.
After these repairs it will drive a long time with no problems.
Has a nice Sony MP3 player with infinity speakers in the back and polk audio in the front.
Has A/C that does work, but could be colder when driving in the city, its usually fine when driving on the fwy, we have never had it charged the whole time we owned it.It also has a sunroof anda bunch of other typical Mercedes features that I cant think of at the moment.

Transmission issue - The transmission was replaced back in 1996 I think, but a year or two later it had an odd quirk. When cold, the transmission will shift normally but when it comes to shifting in 3rd gear, it will instead shift into neutral. So what I have been doing for several years is driving the car in 2nd car until it warms up, then it will shift normally in all gears. The car will drive in 2nd gear up to 60 mph at 4000 rpm which is not very high (80mph in 3rd gear is about 4000 rpm). You are welcome to test drive the car to verify this.
This issue appears to be stable as it has been like this for a long time, however it cannot be fixed without rebuilding the transmision. This can be done if you do a cheap job for $1000, to do a good job it will probably run $2000+. But the car is driveable as is, it has been a great car for us.
